Self- Hating Black Women

First of I all I'm going to say I love my sista's, but just like we got self-hating black men. We also got self-hating black women out there.Lots of black women hate themselves enough to measure their self-worth in fiscal terms: "I'm worthy enough to 'marry up'" and get mad when they are found to be lacking as a marriage-commodity by their potential buyers. I was watching an old classic movie on TV the other day called "Imitation of life" about struggling young actress with a six-year-old mother sets up housekeeping with a homeless black widow and her light-skinned eight-year-old daughter who rejects her mother by trying to pass for white. I mean she wanted to pass for white so badly that she wanted to disown her black mother.

Is black Feminism the cause of so many unwed black women?

The Black Feminist Movement grew out of, and in response to, the BlackLiberation Movement and the Women's Movement. In an effort to meet theneeds of black women who felt they were being racially oppressed inthe Women's Movement and sexually oppressed in the Black Liberation Movement, the Black Feminist Movement was formed. All too often,"black" was equated with black men and "woman" was equated with white women. As a result, black women were an invisible group whose existence and needs were ignored. The purpose of the movement was to develop theory which could adequately address the way race, gender, and class were interconnected in their lives and to take action to stop racist, sexist, and classiest discrimination. I know a few black women that are against polygamy, but if you think about it from a broad perspective a lot of them are already into polygamy, because they are baby mama's those who have three four fathers of some of their children and the men has other children besides the ones he have with them. So you rather be called a baby mama or a wife?

Why are most black women overweight? Is it a psychological problem?

Do the Actress Monique promotes obesity? It's quite obvious the majority of Black American and Caribbean women are obese or overweight. The majority of Black men have brainwashed us as people consistently saying they like fat ass women and if a woman is not fat then she would not get much attention ...Never mind the related long-term health affects of being overweight are heart decease, hypertension, diabetes, and the list goes on. We all know that "fatness" is not healthy, so WHY are so many Black women ignorant who don't like themselves? I mean, what is more important than caring for our own health? Ladies, you definitely got to take care of your body!!! Because if you don't love yourself, how in the world then can anyone love you?

The hypocrisy of many black women

I notice that many of black women love to point the finger at us black males. As if their shiit doesn't stink as well. We got black women always complaining that they want a real man,but love to wear extensions/weave fake nails and a some have fake attitudes. They get mad when they see a brotha with a cave women, but can have a hair full of piss blond hair in their head and wonder why most black men are running to white women and they're all about this "Something new" mentality which isn't really new at all. A movie about an very attractive,goal-oriented sista "Sana lathan" who can't find a good black man well she did with Blair Underwood's character, but I guess he wasn't good enough so she finds love in her white knight. I guess halle berry thought she was doing something new with billy bob Thornton in Monster ball's. Where he made her feel good then she wins an Oscar for playing massa's concubine in the movie. When the Shoe is on the other foot many black women like to praise black women with a white man,but if you see a brotha with a white women they'll get highly upset. Another hypocrisy about black women is that the blame the rappers for calling them bitches and hoes, but yet they are the ones in the videos shaking their asses and acting like hoes. Another example is when Oprah did her town meeting show about the Don "Anus" incident. It was like a witch hunt for black men. First of all she had guest like rapper "Common" on her show and he doesn't even have explicit lyrics. I think Oprah is very hypocritical at times and come off like she hates black men. Another example she can invite serial killers on her show and black women like super head/Karrine Steffans, but Ludacris wasn't good enough to come on her show, because he was a rapper. This self-hating mentality has to go. Black women are the queen mother goddess of all and they should act like it.
