The I'll Na Na's Prison Release
After eight long months, Foxy Brown is finally leaving prison on Rikers Island my girl's back on the streets. Just in time to promote her new mixtape "Brooklyn Don Diva" which hits stores May 13. Watch live footage of foxy leaving rikers below.
i think josephine baker was the first... then came eatha kitt, then diana ross, whitney houston, grace jones, naomi campbell and now foxy........... there's like this "diva" archetype of the little black girl from the streets who finds fame in mainstream culture and becomes a symbol beauty and class..... and how does she handle it????? by becoming a savage, violent, haughty, primitive native, african monkey woman, attacking staff members, throwing tantrums, having fits, and wanting everything to go their way. foxy was gettin beside herself with that temper. i hope she learned something from her punishment....... naomi didnt.
