It wasn't bad enough they were sagging with baggy jeans, but now the new trend is to sag with young, skin type jeans. Known as a retro look from the 80's called skinny jeans on dudes? WTF this reminds me of the boondocks episode (The Story of gangstalicious part 2) about the gay rapper that set a fashion trend to rock skirts, pearls, pink and man purses and everybody ate it up like Popeye's chicken. You'll never catch me rocking no "Femmy jeans". White boys can keep their male yeast infections.
That is so true! Omarion looks so gay but Chris rocked it well. They need to leave it to the females and white rockers.
ReplyDeletei suppose as a gay man, i feel no need to meet anyone else's standard of masculinity other than my own. one person says the jeans look "femmy", i say they show off a man's legs?? and me i spend 6 days a week killing myself at the gym, not just to wear wife beaters and tee shirts that show off my chest. i think skinny jeans are a great look for the moment and hell if u have nice legs....who is another man to tell you u can show them off??? i think if anything its reverse chauvinism to marginalize men's fashion and say what is and what isnt appropriate for men to wear. if u dont like it fine, but decreeing that all men who wear them have all compromised their manhood, i doubt it, i have seen men in skinny jeans whip ass in the clubs when ppl step to them wrong. and its hard to fight them back when u got baggy jeans saggin off ur ass. LOL
ReplyDeletei thought only women rocked them skinny jeans. only niggas i know that rock that style are the gay guys, the rockers, and the emos!
ReplyDeletei think the term "skinny" jeans and the term skinny itself is so closely linked to females and their desire to be skinny, that its merely the name of the jeans that evokes all these feminine associations..... in reality, im sure if the marketing campaign called them "slim" jeans or "lean" jeans.... the issue would not be such a scandal to some people. let's not forget that tunics, kilts, and skirts were all worn by men ages ago, and in the 60's pink was a strictly masculine color, that became feminine in the 80's and has now become rather neutral. besides, its fashion, if ur gonna live by the old world creed of "men wear this, and women can only wear that" then id rather us just all go naked.
